bhuna gosht by zubaida tariq
Ingredients Of Bhuna Gosht
- 1/2 kg beef
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 cup oil
- 2 lemon
- 2 onions, sliced
- 4 sliced green chilies
- 4 sliced cilantro
- 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. black pepper, crushed
- 1 tbsp. ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp. red chili flakes
- 1/2 tbsp. roasted and ground cumin
- Salt to taste
Method Of Bhuna Ghost
- Heat 1 cup of oil in a wok and fry 2 sliced onions till they are golden brown.
- Then add 1/2 kg beef, salt to taste, 1 tsp. turmeric powder and 1 tbsp. ginger garlic paste and cook.
- When water dries up, add 1 cup yogurt and 1 tbsp. red chili flakes and sauté. Then add 1 tsp. crushed black pepper, 1/2 tbsp. roasted and ground cumin, 4 sliced green chilies, juice of 2 lemons and 1/2 bunch sliced cilantro and mix.
- Bhuna Gosht is ready, serve with naan or paratha.

Boti Masala Biryani
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Ghee
- 2 Tbsp long thin pieces Of Ginger
- 1 Onion Sliced
- 1 Tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- mint Leaves Chopped
- coriander Leaves Chopped
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- 5-6 Green Chillies Chopped
- Salt – to tsate
- 6 Cloves
- 1 Tbsp Ginger / Garlic
- 1 Cinnamon Stick 2″
- 1/2 Cup Yogurt Whipped
- 15 Peppercorns
- 2 Tomato Chopped
- 1/4 Tsp Yellow Food Colouring Diluted In 1/2 Cup Water
- 1 kg Beef meat Cubed
- 1/2 Cup Of Water
- Rice Boiled 750 gms
Method:
1. Heat the oil. Fry the onions till they are translucent.
2. Add the red chilli powder turmeric powder, salt, and ginger / garlic. Stir and fry till the oil seperates.
3. Add the yogurt, tomatoes, beef and water. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until the beef is tender.
4. Remove the pot from the heat. Put in the juliennes of ginger, coriander leaves, mint leaves,green chillies, cloves, cinnamon, peppercorns and yellow food color.
5. Add the rice on top along with the additional oil. Cover the pot and return to heat.
6. Simmer over a low heat for 10 -15 minutes for dum.
7. Boti Masala Biryani is ready to serve. Garnish with mint & coriander Leaves.
* same recipe can be used for Lamb, mutton & chicken.
